RANDROCK has developed a strong position in Manganese ores and concentrates for the international metallurgical industry. Manganese, a key component of the steel making industry, is sourced from China, South Africa, Australia as well as Gabon, Brazil, Ukraine and India.
We have from 35 % to 49 % Plus Mn Ore. Only the manganese ores which contain greater than 35% manganese are commercially exploitable.
The main ores are the oxides, such Aspyrolusite, MnO2; Hausmannite, Mn3O4; and Manganite, MnO(OH). The world’s main producers are Georgia, Ukraine, South Africa, Brazil, Gabon, and India with some in Indonesia & Turkey.

We have a chrome wash plant in the Northwest with a capacity to produce 40000 tons of chrome concentrate a month. We have signed offtake agreements with three mines to supply us with the run of mines.
we are in the process of acquiring a stake in one of the mines, We have signed two major offtake agreements with two end-users one from China and one from India for the product we produce.
Chromite sand is the main ingredient for moulding sands in foundries, as well as for sliding gate sands. Moreover, in shaped and unshaped refractory applications it forms the basis for chome-magnesite and magnesia-chrome refractories.

At present, coal meets one-third of the world’s energy needs and produces almost two fifth of global electricity. We source and transport bulk measure of coal from Indonesia, South Africa, Columbia, Australia, USA, Russia and Mozambique. We are a competent trading partner in the South African market and focus on different regions of the global market including China, Pakistan, Middle East, Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South East Asia and Africa.
We have an in-house team of chartering experts who are capable of handling comprehensive projects. In India, we work from multiple ports like Kandla, Gangavaram, Bedi and Krishnapatnam and efficiently ship coal in Supramax, Panamax or Capesize depending on the need.
Thermal coal: Also known as steam coal, is used for power and heat generation. We supply Thermal Coal ranging from 3500 GAR to 7000 GAR.
Anthracite: A hard, compact variety of coal that has a sub metallic lustre. It bears the highest carbon content and least impurities among all major types of coal.
Petroleum coke: The solid non-volatile carbon residue left after the refinement of petroleum. It is used as a source of energy, or as a source of carbon for industrial usage.
Metallurgical Coal: Used in the process of creating coke necessary for iron and steel-making. We supply Metallurgical Coal to vast industries across geographies.

SOURCING CONTRACT WITH STEEL ROLLING MILLS
Mill scale is the flaky surface of hot rolled steel, consisting of mixed iron oxides iron(II) oxide (FeO), iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3), and iron(II,III) oxide (Fe3O4, magnetite).
Mill scale forms on the outer surfaces of plates, sheets or profiles when they are being produced by rolling red hot iron or steel billets in rolling mills. Mill scale is bluish-black in colour, is usually less than 0.1 mm thick, adheres to the steel surface and protects it from atmospheric corrosion - provided no break occurs in this coating. Mill scale generated in rolling mills is generally collected and recycled at a sinter plant.
